Frontend Engineer
Career Timeline
Promoted to Senior Frontend Engineer in 2022. Given additional responsibilities that included a specialization in QA. With an eye for detail and years of hands on engineering experience, I was now able to test sites during our internal QA process in order to catch many issues before they made it to production.
As a Frontend Engineer, I worked on projects with teams of other frontend and backend engineers, as well as project managers to deliver deadline driven projects utilizing up-to-date coding standards. Primarily focused on WordPress, we created sites for medium to large companies. Some of the tools utilized daily are PHP, JS, CSS and HTML.
While working as a Web Developer at Boulton Creative, I was the frontend developer on all projects. I worked closely with a small team of other creatives and engineers to create great looking (and performing) websites.
Pace is a relatively large company, and our group, called Pace Interactive handled most of the web development projects that came through the door. My skills in web design, and especially in web development grew substantially over several years, as we built highly functional WordPress sites for companies such as Four Seasons Hotels and AAA.
Collaborated on over twenty design projects. Designed everything from packaging concepts, to important internal information design presentations for companies such as Steelcase and Procter & Gamble.
Designed packaging and identity for large companies such as Motorola, Coca-Cola, and Callaway Golf. Integral member of the team that helped TD win the 2009 Grammy for Best Recording Package for Metallica’s newest album, Death Magnetic.
My dream internship. Worked under Kit Hinrichs’ direction to Design the 2007 Pentagram Classic Typographic Calendar.
